about the job

• Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of all production-related activities
• Ensure operations adhere to operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
• Review the operation of plant equipments and systems constantly
• Monitor, report, develop and implement improvement programs
• Lead a team to maximize productivity
• Collaborate to improve process, performance and management efficiency
• Support and participate in the EHS programs
• Support the Continuous Improvement programs

skills & experience required

• Master / Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Production / Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing assembly environment and 5 years in operations management
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes on VSM, Kaizen
• Candidates with manufacturing experience from precision machining will be a big plus
• Knowledge of drawing software(Solidworks, Unigraphics, etc) is added advantage
• Able to be hands on with the ground level personnel on the shop floor
• Well versed with lean manufacturing
• Willing to work in western part of Singapore (Joo Koon / Boon Lay / Pioneer)
