We’re looking to add a NPI Planner in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.

As a NPI Planner, you will:

Responsible for Project Planning, with key responsibilities including providing timely and accurate project status information to R&D, NPI, and Customers regarding BOM, ECN, Regulatory Compliance, Material, Scheduling, and Cost/Quotation management. The role requires informing and appropriately escalating any issues that may impact project schedules or finances. Additionally, the role involves developing and enhancing project planning processes to achieve effective and efficient results.

The key responsibilities are as below:

  • Interface and communicate with customers for project coordination, planning, and status updates.

  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with R&D, Materials (Vendor), Manufacturing, and Document Control Groups to meet project schedules.

  • Provide material and logistics planning and support to R&D during the development phase.

  • Plan material requirements and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Maintain Lab Change Orders, Bill Of Materials, technical documents, etc.

  • Assist with regulatory compliance documentation, such as ROHS.

  • Raise and track ePRs and POs related to the project to ensure timely financial management.

  • Develop R&D documentation processes and guidelines.

  • Assist in tracking product costs.

  • Support the Program Manager in tracking RFQs, costs, and quotations for builds.

  • Contribute to the innovation of effective planning and documentation systems or procedures.

  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

  • Preferably a minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least one year of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge of basic electronics and/or mechanical components is an advantage.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and meticulous.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, a team player with a positive work attitude.

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent time management and coordination skills.
