Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred in a technical discipline and substantial semiconductor equipment knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree with strong field service/process engineering/NPI experience considered.
- Proven people-management or team-lead experience in a customer-facing semiconductor environment.
- Experience leading NPI, beta evaluations, first-of-kind installations, or transfers to production support.
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear priorities, risk assessments, and executive updates.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of NPI Field Service Engineers across installations, beta evaluations and customer-site qualifications.
- Own field service execution for factory readiness, installation planning, startup and qualification milestones.
- Define resource, travel, training, and succession plans aligned with the NPI roadmap.
- Drive safe, compliant execution and timely resolution of escalations.
- Collaborate across Product, GPS, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and local service teams to close gaps.
- Lead customer technical reviews and communicate status, risks and recovery plans to executives.
- Develop and standardize installation procedures, troubleshooting guides and service documentation.
