Job summary

DBS Bank in Singapore is seeking an Analyst in the Ops COO – Nostro Reconciliation Unit (NRU) to support critical banking operations and reconciliation across the Group. You will gain exposure to systems, management reporting, and stakeholder engagement while contributing to transformation initiatives and stronger controls.

Ideal candidates are graduates with up to 3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical mindset, and Excel proficiency; familiarity with SQL or Python is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance or related discipline.
• Strong interest in banking operations, process optimisation, data-driven problem solving, and/or technology-enabled transformation.
• Graduates with strong academic results, up to 3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and derive insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage reconciliation system processes including static data maintenance, statement uploads and data feeds monitoring.
• Support analysis, design and testing of auto-match rules to enhance reconciliation effectiveness.
• Identify and upscale processing exceptions, errors and abnormal issues.
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Build knowledge of relevant workflows and source systems and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Support preparation of weekly and monthly MIS reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure work adheres to SOPs, policies and guidelines.
• Maintain full compliance with bank policies and codes of conduct.
