Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations with proven track record of leading a team.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionalities is an advantage.
• Able to commute to the warehouse in the West area of Singapore.
• Must be able to work night shifts and weekends, as the role follows a 5-day work week, on a permanent basis.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee and manage the daily physical operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and inventory management.
• Shift and Worker Management: Lead and manage warehouse workers and shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with operational standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate on-site operations with external parties such as the landlord and manpower contractors, as well as internal teams to ensure smooth operational flow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyse data reports to identify operational bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and implement initiatives to improve throughput and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in operational throughput and work towards achieving sustained delivery performance enhancements.
• Coaching and Training: Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees to support skill development and optimise performance.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Meeting or exceeding operational SLAs, improving performance based on data analysis, ensuring smooth coordination with stakeholders, enhancing employee development and training, and driving continuous delivery performance improvements.
