Job summary

Landon Veterinary Specialists in Singapore is seeking a Night Shift Veterinarian for Emergency & Critical Care. The role involves examinations, surgeries, medication administration, and guiding clients on health and nutrition.

You will work with Critical Care Specialists and nurses within a busy, 24-hour emergency framework on a rotational 12-hour night shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree registrable with the AVA (or equivalent).
• ECC exposure or rotational internship would be a bonus.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a rotational roster.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations and perform surgeries during night shifts.
• Provide guidance on health, nutrition and general care to clients.

Night Shift Veterinarian– Emergency & Critical Care(“ECC”)

No proper emergency centre can operate without an awesome team. You will be working with Critical Care Specialists and Nurses, as well as collaborating with other teams.

The position will involve conducting examinations, performing surgeries, administering medications and also provide guidance on health, nutrition and general care. This is a full-time position with night shifts only, including weekends and public holidays on a rotational roster. Shifts are 12 hours, allowing more days off per week.

What Do You Have

• Possess a veterinary degree or qualifications registrable with the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA)
• Memberships in ECC and/or rotational internship would be a bonus
• Ability to perform upper GI scopes and some emergency surgeries an advantage
• Still get excited when you pull a rubber ducky out of theoesophagus, stomach or duodenum (basically ECC excites you)
• Strong work ethic and a team-player
• Compassion and willingness to put patient care first
• Brilliant client communication skills, both written and spoken
