Job summary

Landon Veterinary Specialists PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a locum Night Shift Veterinarian for Emergency & Critical Care (ECC). You will work with Critical Care Specialists and nurses, performing examinations, surgeries, and medication administration. The role is night-shift only, 12 hours per shift, including weekends and public holidays, with collaboration across departments to ensure top patient care.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree registrable with AVA.
• ECC membership or rotating internship would be a bonus.
• Ability to perform upper GI scopes and some emergency surgeries is an advantage.
• Strong work ethic and a team-player.
• Compassion and willingness to put patient care first.
• Excellent client communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, perform surgeries, administer medications and provide health guidance.
• Night shifts only (12 hours), including weekends and public holidays.
• Collaborate with Critical Care Specialists and Nurses across teams.
• Support emergency and ICU operations and patient care during ECC shifts.

Locum Night Shift Veterinarian– Emergency & Critical Care ("ECC")

No proper emergency centre can operate without an awesome team. You will be working with Critical Care Specialists and Nurses, as well as collaborating with other teams.

The position will involve conducting examinations, performing surgeries, administering medications and also provide guidance on health, nutrition and general care. This is a locum position requiring night shifts only, including weekends and public holidays. Each shift is 12 hours.

What Do You Have

• Possess a veterinary degree or qualifications registrable with the Agri‑Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA)
• Memberships in ECC and/or rotational internship would be a bonus
• Ability to perform upper GI scopes and some emergency surgeries an advantage
• Still get excited when you pull a rubber ducky out of the oesophagus, stomach or duodenum (basically ECC excites you)
• Strong work ethic and a team‑player
• Compassion and willingness to put patient care first
• Brilliant client communication skills, both written and spoken
