Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.
• Willingness to work permanent night shift.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off-hours.
• Effective handoffs to day-shift teams with detailed pass-downs.
• Occasional overtime and emergency response may be required.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
• MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote).
• Experience with SEM or FIB platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with process/integration engineers on requests and priorities.
• Communicate issues and support items with Micron team members and suppliers.
• Feed products into equipment, troubleshoot issues, and optimize tool performance.
• Use approved AI-enabled tools to optimize lab procedures and maintain safety requirements.
• Follow responsible AI, data-security, and quality-control expectations when handling technical data.

Night Shift TEM Technician

We are looking for a driven candidate for a night shift technician position in Yield Enhancement (YE) lab under Technology Development (TD) at Micron’s Singapore site. You will focus on the operation and minor maintenance of Focused Ion Beam (FIB) for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analysis. This is to support both the pilot line and the manufacturing line.

We are interested in people with excellent communication skills, strong initiative, a great work ethic, a passion for innovation and a strong attention to detail. Successful candidates for this position will be placed at corresponding technician level based on previous experience and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide FIB/TEM support for various technology nodes of NAND development.
• Interact with process/integration engineers regarding requests, priorities, and/or general communications.
• Communicate with Micron team members and supplier representatives at all levels regarding tool issues, requests and support items.
• Feed products into the equipment, troubleshoot issues and optimize tool performance.
• Use approved AI-enabled tools to optimize the existing Lab procedures and maintain the lab environment within the scope of safety requirement.
• Follow responsible AI, data-security, and quality-control expectations when handling technical information, images, tool logs, and internal communications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
• Comfortable working permanent night shift.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off-hours.
• Effective communication with day-shift teams through detailed pass-downs.
• Support occasional overtime and emergency response when required.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide resolutions.
• PC skills to include M.S. Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote).
• Experience with SEM or FIB platforms is a plus.
