A leading company in electronic manufacturing seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee operators and ensure performance meets established standards. The role involves strategic resource deployment, quality control, and productivity improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and 3 years of supervisory experience in a similar environment.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise production operators to meet production key performance indicators such as daily product output (delivery) operator productivity (Pcs/FTE), quality (yield target), cost (rework parts), on-time delivery (production order due) and standards/safety(5S & Workplace Safety and Health)
Provide daily operation resource deployment plan and technical support to sustain effective production run
Fulfil sales order to delivery requirements and optimise work order process efficiency with daily monitoring of production planning work order flow and flexible deployment of operation resource
Support daily process and quality escalation and troubleshooting actions
Monitor the day-to-day production activities, support productivity improvement programs.
Represent as a proxy for production quality compliance and acceptance.
Establish and escalate higher scrap loss to industrial engineers for mitigation of high scrap losses and miss shipment for all products
Responsible lead for productivity improvement through periodic reviewing performance of product cycle time, machine and production yield performance
Plan and control preventive maintenance for equipment and machines
Monitor and sustain 5S improvements program
Conduct on-the-job-training and assess training evaluation for production operators
Support workplace safety health programs
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of Supervisory experience in an electronic manufacturing assembly production environment.
Knowledge of FA techniques/reliability tests. Experience in PCBA testing will be an added advantage.
Well verse in electrical schematic drawings.
Proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Soldering skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and team approach to problem solving.
