Job summary

H WORLD HOLDINGS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a vigilant Security Officer for night shifts at the hotel. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor CCTV and access control, respond to incidents, and assist Front Office with guest needs while maintaining high safety standards.

You will work 5 days a week on permanent night shift from 8:30 PM to 8:30 AM, with two breaks and weekend/public holiday rosters. The role emphasizes safety compliance, incident reporting, and collaboration with hotel teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols every two hours throughout the hotel premises, including the lobby, guest floors, back-of-house areas and other designated areas.
• Conduct thorough patrols of M&E rooms and engineering/service areas, promptly identifying and reporting any abnormalities, safety hazards or security concerns.
• Monitor CCTV and hotel security systems.
• Perform access control and monitor visitors, contractors and other persons entering the hotel premises.
• Handle security incidents, disturbances and emergency situations professionally and promptly.
• Assist with fire safety, emergency response and evacuation procedures.
• Support the Front Office in managing difficult guest situations, crowd control and other security-related matters.
• Assist the Front Office during the night shift with guest enquiries, luggage handling, delivery of basic guest amenities and other simple operational requests when required.
• Prepare incident reports, patrol records and other required security documentation.
• Immediately report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance issues or unusual findings.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security policies and relevant regulations.
• Perform other security and operational duties as assigned by management.
