A leading company in community rehabilitation is looking for a Residential Care Worker to support youths in an institutional facility. The role involves overseeing residents, ensuring their safety and security, and fostering positive relationships. Candidates should be independent and possess good communication skills, with O Level qualifications being preferred.
Residential Care Worker will be working with the youths staying in an institutional facility, which focus on community rehabilitation.
They are required to work night shifts.
Fixed Monthly Allowance will be provided.
List of responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Oversee the residents on a daily basis; manage the welfare, discipline and standards of
regimentation in the institution;
- Support the shift during emergency;
- Deliver Trauma-informed practices in daily interactions;
- Ensure safety and security of premises, include perform body & property check, carry out security and night patrols, dormitory checks and conduct urine test (when necessary);
- Manage and provide care for the daily living needs of the residents in the Hostel;
- Able to develop positive relationship with the residents;
- Involve in taskforce, to assist and execute tasks required from the taskforce.
Technical Competencies
•Able to do rotating night shift.
•Independent, resourceful and responsible.
•Firm in upholding the standards and responsive in dealing with people.
•Possess good communication and writing skills.
•Proficient in MS Word, Excel, etc.
