Job summary

Twine is seeking a creative social content creator for a one-month, full-time contract to shape the online presence of a niche literary brand focused on psychological and supernatural horror, grief, trauma, tarot, and taboo fiction.

You will develop a weekly calendar for Instagram and Facebook, produce reels and carousels, craft original visuals, and optimize content based on performance, with optional cross-posting to TikTok, Pinterest, Threads or Etsy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating and managing social content for literary, dark, or niche brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, short-form video, and carousel design.
• Familiar with Instagram and Facebook formats, algorithms, and engagement tactics.
• Ability to handle mature, sensitive, and taboo subject matter with professionalism and nuance.
• Experience with analytics and adapting strategies for optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop a weekly content calendar tailored to Instagram and Facebook, ensuring at least seven posts per week.
• Produce reels, story-driven carousels, and high-impact visuals aligned with the brand’s tone and themes.
• Create original footage or imagery with hooks, retention strategies, calls to action, and maximizing engagement.
• Adapt and optimize content based on analytics, feedback, and evolving campaign needs.
• Collaborate on concepts, revisions, and approvals to meet brand standards before publishing.
• Optionally extend content reach to TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, or Etsy to support promotion.
