Job summary

A global leading cloud infrastructure provider is seeking a New Product Introduction Engineer in Singapore. You will lead all NPI activities, liaise with all relevant parties, and manage the product introduction process. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of SAP and SFC systems. This role will contribute significantly to both internal and external ISO audits.

Job description

New Product Introduction Engineer

Our client is a global leading cloud infrastructure provider company. They are looking for New Product Introduction Engineer.

The role of the New Product Introduction Engineer includes:

• To lead & drive all NPI activities within the plant
• To work & liaise with all relevant parties (internal, suppliers, customers, HQ/factory) on the product introduction include packaging
• Knowledge in creating & modifying BOM structure for assembly process
• Knowledge in SFC (Shop floor control) system & SAP maintenance
• Understanding of Server & Rack assembly process
• Involve in rack packaging design
• To lead/participate in Kaizen activities
• To support production on mass run
• Participate in ISO audit both internally and externally

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of working experience in Manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good project management skills
• A keen eye for details
• Compliance with RBA standards
