Job description

Job Duties:

Fund Accounting/Fund Operations: Unit Trust Valuation and Reporting

• Lead daily unit trust fund valuation and establish process for performing daily NAV price review of outsourced unit trust funds.

• Lead the unit trust statutory reporting (semi-annual and annual reports) process for different fund jurisdictions.

• Work with auditor and service providers on audit queries and issue resolutions.

• Unit trust performance fee trigger and review computation

• Perform Fund level GST remission claims & rebate computation.

• Fund expense payment processing.

• Tax matters

• Support the Product department in launch of new unit trust, fund reshaping as well as fund termination/maturity from the fund accounting perspective.

• Trouble-shoot on issues and error incidents and implement corrective measures and controls

• Review for regulatory updates and changes to ensure compliance.

• Involvement in process improvement projects and initiatives for the Department.

Fund Accounting/Fund Operations

• Handle the fund accounting and fund operations functions

• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements associated with valuation and reporting.

Fund Accounting/Fund Operations: Transfer Agency Function

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics or CA qualification.

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the asset management, asset servicing or securities services industry, covering fund valuation, fund administration and fund operations.

• Experience in system change and migration projects and management of outsourced service providers.
