Job summary

A leading IT service provider in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to deliver Day 2 operational support and troubleshooting for enterprise network, server, storage, and virtualization environments. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Cisco products and VMware technologies along with relevant certifications including CCNA or VCP. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Day 2 operational support and troubleshooting for enterprise network, server, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Manage Cisco routing and switching products.
• Support VMware virtualization technologies including vCenter Server and ESXi.
• Maintain server platforms such as Cisco UCS (B-series, E-series, C-series), Dell PowerEdge, and HP ProLiant.
• Oversee storage systems including NetApp AFF/FAS arrays.
• Support hyperconverged infrastructure solutions such as VMware VSAN, VxRail, Nutanix, and Cisco Hyperflex.
• Manage Microsoft Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) operating systems.
• Handle backup and recovery platforms like NetBackup, Commvault, or Veeam.
• Perform system health checks, patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and reliable IT service operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, or NetApp certifications are advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching (mandatory).
• Proven knowledge of data center infrastructure including Cisco UCS servers and fabric interconnects.
• Experience with VMware vCenter Server, ESXi, and hyperconverged infrastructure platforms.
• Familiarity with storage solutions such as NetApp AFF/FAS.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Experience with enterprise backup software (NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam).
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to work office hours with standby and overtime as required.
