Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Network Operations Engineer in Singapore to monitor, secure, and optimize complex enterprise networks across data centers, LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with delivery, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability.

The role covers incident response, change management, and documentation, with opportunities for automation and DR testing. Hybrid work is supported to balance on-site and remote tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong routing and switching fundamentals with VLANs and IP addressing
  • Experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN and DDI
  • Experience with monitoring, incident, and change processes
  • Ability to execute changes and communicate impact
  • Rostered operations and after-hours maintenance experience

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage enterprise network services and event management platforms
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents across LAN, WAN, WLAN, DDI, and remote-access environments
  • Execute approved network changes using governance and change management processes
  • Maintain accurate network configurations, inventories, topology diagrams, and documentation
  • Support wireless networking, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions
  • Perform capacity planning and identify opportunities to improve network performance
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and support partners during incidents and activities
  • Develop runbooks, automation scripts, and knowledge articles
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing and resilience exercises

The Role
Your role

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will deliver reliable, secure, and measurable enterprise network services for a complex managed services environment. You will be responsible for monitoring, incident response, configuration management, network performance, capacity planning, and approved operational changes across multi-site, data centre, wireless, WAN, remote access, and cloud-connected environments.

You will work closely with service delivery, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure high levels of service availability and operational excellence. Success in this role is demonstrated through stable operations, rapid issue resolution, service improvements, and excellent customer outcomes.

What you will do
  • Monitor and manage enterprise network services and event management platforms.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents across LAN, WAN, WLAN, DDI, and remote-access environments.
  • Execute approved network changes using established governance and change management processes.
  • Maintain accurate network configurations, inventories, topology diagrams, and documentation.
  • Support wireless networking, authentication services, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.
  • Perform capacity planning and identify opportunities to improve network performance and resilience.
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and support partners during incidents and service activities.
  • Develop operational runbooks, automation scripts, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing, resilience exercises, and after-hours support activities.
Who You Are
Required skills and experience
  • Strong routing and switching fundamentals including VLANs, IP addressing, redundancy, and dynamic routing.
  • Experience supporting enterprise LAN, WLAN, WAN, DDI, monitoring, or remote-access environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using monitoring tools, logs, packet analysis, and configuration review.
  • Experience with incident, change, problem, CMDB, and documentation processes.
  • Ability to execute approved network changes and communicate impact effectively.
  • Ability to support rostered operations and after-hours maintenance activities.
Preferred skills and experience
  • Experience with software-defined networking and network automation solutions.
  • Exposure to large enterprise wireless environments and network access control platforms.
  • Scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell, APIs, or similar technologies.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, Aruba, or Fortinet certifications
