Job description

Maintain and enhance the operational efficiency of our network infrastructure to meet business needs.

Implement and maintain network configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and updates to the network environment.

Develop and maintain operational documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and runbooks.

Able to travel to various sites in Singapore for network outfitting projects

Provide support for network-related incidents and escalations.

Provide after-hours support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Local Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or operations roles, mid-careerist with relevant network training is acceptable
• Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPN, and DNS.
• Minimum CCNA or equivalent certification
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG).
• Knowledge of cloud networking technologies and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
