Job summary

StarHub in Singapore is seeking an IT/network warehouse operative to support inventory control, asset tagging, and deployment tasks across enterprise networking and security equipment.

You will handle staging, dispatch, and coordination with vendors and field engineers, while providing Level 1 support for basic connectivity checks and site rollout activities. Familiarity with LAN/WAN/WLAN and documentation tools is valued.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec in IT/Engineering or related field required.
• At least 3 years of related experience; fresh ITE graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, IT asset management, or network equipment handling.
• Ability to identify switches, routers, firewalls, APs, SFPs, modules, cables, and power supplies.
• Basic knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, IP addressing, VLANs, cabling, and rack layout.
• Strong documentation skills using spreadsheets, ticketing tools, inventory systems, asset trackers.
• Willingness to support site rollout, hardware refresh, equipment replacement, and maintenance windows.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, asset-tag, label, store, issue, dispatch, and track network hardware and accessories.
• Maintain inventory records including models, serial numbers, asset tags, warranty status, site location, stock movement, and project assignment.
• Coordinate delivery, collection, and equipment movement between warehouse, office, vendor, and customer sites.
• Prepare equipment for deployment: packing, labeling, staging, base records, and handover documentation.
• Manage RMA, faulty unit replacement, warranty claims, repair tracking, return-to-vendor, and vendor follow-up.
• Maintain delivery notes, collection forms, stock reports, inventory trackers, and audit-ready warehouse records.
• Assist Level 1 network support with basic checks and site deployment activities.
