Job summary

Michael Page International is seeking an experienced Network Consultant/Technical Lead to design, architect and implement enterprise network solutions across Cisco ACI, ISE, WLC, Aruba and Huawei environments.

The role requires translating requirements into HLDs/LLDs, leading migrations and driving automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform and APIs to improve operational efficiency.

Job Description

• Lead the design, architecture, integration, and implementation of enterprise network solutions across Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, Cisco WLC, Aruba, Huawei, data center, campus, wireless, and cloud environments.
• Translate customer requirements into High-Level Designs (HLDs) and detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs), ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and operationally sustainable.
• Serve as the technical lead for network transformation, migration, refresh, and deployment projects, overseeing implementation, testing, rollback planning, and operational handover.
• Conduct customer workshops, design reviews, technical presentations, and governance discussions to define project scope, risks, assumptions, and implementation strategies.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex networking technologies, including routing & switching, wireless, SDN, Cisco ACI, Aruba, and Huawei environments.
• Review and approve implementation plans, migration strategies, change requests, testing procedures, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical incidents, service outages, and technical issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, project managers, security teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide network engineers by providing technical leadership, coaching, knowledge transfer, and capability development.
• Drive network automation and innovation initiatives using tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is a highly experienced Network Consultant or Technical Lead with Min 10 years of hands-on networking experience, possessing deep expertise in Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, Cisco WLC, Aruba, Huawei, Routing & Switching, Wireless, and Data Center technologies.

They will have a proven track record of designing and delivering complex enterprise network solutions, including the development of High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), while leading large-scale implementation, migration, and transformation projects across multi-vendor environments.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can confidently engage with customers, architects, project teams, and senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes. They are comfortable leading technical workshops, presenting solutions, and acting as the escalation point for critical technical issues.

In addition, they possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams, and a passion for driving innovation through network automation technologies such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions.

Preferred qualifications include CCIE, HCIE, or equivalent certifications, along with prior team leadership and customer-facing consulting experience.
