Network Flow Analyst (Liner)

We are seeking a Network Flow Analyst(Liner) to join a reputable Shipping Company. The successful candidate will assist in optimizing the shipping network, working closely with both external and internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless cargo flow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the strategic planning and development of the shipping network, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
2. Monitor and analyze internal network flows, utilizing commercial forecasts, equipment imbalance data, and market trends.
3. Conduct quarterly reviews to optimize laden and empty cargo routing, proposing cost-effective solutions.
4. Collaborate with capacity and logistics teams to ensure smooth network operations and address any disruptions.
5. Assist in optimizing vessel chartering decisions based on cargo forecasts and vessel availability.
6. Conduct analysis on trade-offs between volume, yield, reliability, market share, and costs to improve network performance.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, addressing operational or contractual issues as they arise.
8. Support network optimization projects, including the implementation of algorithm-based tools and sustainability initiatives.
9. Analyze and monitor cost variances, ensuring budget optimization and providing insights for operational improvements.
10. Participate in network service reviews, providing feedback and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Experience in container or liner trade or the shipping business is preferred.
• Well-developed business partnering skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• High proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerBI,Tableau and other analytical software.
