Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches (Cisco, Alcatel), firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), and intrusion detection/protection systems.
Manage and support campus-wide network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, and network access control appliances (e.g., Aruba ClearPass).
Optimize network performance, monitor service availability, and troubleshoot issues.
Configure firewall rules and security settings while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Maintain and update documentation, SOPs, and network diagrams.
Support firmware/OS upgrades for network devices and implement Layer 2/3 switching, core firewalls, and network access controls.
Collaborate with the Service Desk and On-Site Support Team for network issue resolution.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Alcatel, Juniper network equipment, and structured cabling (UTP/Fiber).
Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network security principles.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
Ability to document procedures and update technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle escalations effectively.
