Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd. is seeking a junior to mid-level Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain robust network solutions for client projects.

You’ll work on complex infrastructure initiatives within a systems integration context, ensuring reliable connectivity and security. The role requires 2-3 years of experience, knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols, familiarity with Cisco/Fortinet/Juniper equipment, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Min. 2-3 years of experience in network engineering, preferably from System Integrator or IT Solutioning/ service provider backgrounds
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and network architectures
• Familiar with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, HPE Aruba or Arista products
• Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and secure network design
• Experience with network management tools and monitoring solutions
• Certification in CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent credentials
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to resolve critical network issues
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience with virtualization and cloud networking is preferred
• Knowledge of systems integration methodologies and project lifecycle management is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive network infrastructure solutions tailored to client requirements and industry best practices
• Conduct network assessments and audits to identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement
• Integrate network systems with existing IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance
• Configure and deploy network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve connectivity issues and minimise downtime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems administrators, security specialists, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Conduct network testing and validation to ensure solutions meet performance and security requirements
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and client stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry developments to recommend innovative solutions

What we're looking for
