Job summary

STAR CAREER CONSULTING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support network solutions across data centers. You will install routers, switches, load balancers, and monitor device status and bandwidth, ensuring zero SLA breaches and timely problem resolution.

You will coordinate changes, perform firmware patches, manage subcontractors, and collaborate with other teams on new deployments and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a network engineer in an operations environment.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.
• Experience with Cisco ACI is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and current network improvement/expanding
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, load balancers, switches
• Analyse problems, perform troubleshooting, and track problems through resolution
• Responsible for monitoring activities, such as device status and bandwidth usage
• When necessary, upscale problems to the appropriate stakeholders / principals /vendors
• Schedule and run periodic maintenance for network infrastructure at the data centre
• Plan and manage change request and / or maintenance activities for network operations including firmware patches
• Ensuring zero service level breaches and achieve 100% compliance with policy and procedure
• Perform Change Request, Service Request as assigned by team lead according to the SLA
• Manage Call ticket assigned by service desk according to the SLA
• Managing of network devices and perform firmware patching
• Managing subcontractors involved with network installation
• Work with other team for new implementation and troubleshooting
• Providing network reports and status for monthly SLA reports and other operations requirements
