Job summary

Terrabit Networks Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure for clients in the North-East Region. The role is full-time and involves configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and APs, while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

You will monitor networks, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges, while adhering to security and data protection standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role.
• Strong technical knowledge in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting with experience in Cisco/Juniper or equivalent hardware/software.
• Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
• Familiarity with network security best practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and incident response.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• General certifications such as CCNA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure network hardware and software components (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs).
• Monitor and maintain network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies on security and data protection.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures for accuracy.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
• Stay updated with latest network technologies to recommend improvements.
