Responsibilities
• Responsible to plan, coordinate, and work with various vendors for network deployment to Data Centre and Campus network setup (SG and Regional).
• Responsible for network asset, network IPs, circuit, and inventory management.
• Responsible to work with the respective network vendors’ support teams for the troubleshooting, identification, and resolution of network problems.
• Responsible for network devices, as well as appliances, vulnerability review and assessment.
• Responsible to work on the network engineering and design for new initiatives.
• Responsible to work with respective countries’ network team members on the review of network architecture and design, troubleshooting, as well as to work on the replacement of EOS network system or devices.
• Ready to be on call for 24x7 support.
• Prepare network configuration for network deployment.
• Implement change during green zone hours.
• Assist Level 2 & 3 Engineers during problem determination and resolution when necessary.
• Track and ensure network configuration security compliance and fixes are applied within schedule.
• Hands-on experience in Network Monitoring servers like Grafana, Nagios, Netbrain, Kibana, etc.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or diploma in IT or equivalent.
• 10 years of network engineer experience with the following skills and competencies:
• Knowledge and experience on IP addressing and subnetting.
• Experience with coordinating with multiple vendors for network deployment and project management.
• Experience in troubleshooting in different platforms on network.
• Experience with onsite support for network deployment like ACI, SDA, Huawei Imaster, F5, and Wireless technology.
• Knowledge and experience in using network management systems, i.e. Cisco SDA, Huawei iMaster, and 5G Wireless technology.
• Knowledge and experience in employing and using various networking trace tools, i.e. Sniffer, Wireshark, Riverbed NetProfiler, NetBrain, Gigamon, ELK, etc.
