Singtel, in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technology, launched the "The Catalyst Programme" Work-Study Programme (WSP) in Feb 2023. This structured on-the-job development program allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in Infrastructure and Systems Engineering. The program is open to both internal employees and external diploma holders, preferably from the ICT domain, but non-ICT diploma holders are encouraged to apply.
This 3-year program aims to develop and groom talent in Singapore's ICT sector, offering micro-credentials for each module that stack up to an honours degree in Infrastructure and Systems Engineering. The Infrastructure Service Assurance (ISA) team from EIS is responsible for being the first point of contact and responder for fault incidents related to the network infrastructure managed and operated by EIS, such as Singtel CPLUS, SDWAN, and Megapop IP network. The goal is to restore service operation swiftly during faults, minimize impact, and maintain SLA commitments.
