Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise network infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience and CCNA certification. Candidates with CCNP certification and strong project exposure may be considered for senior-level roles.

You will be responsible for managing routing, switching, firewall, and network security across various environments, ensuring high availability and performance of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN/WAN, VLANs, and network routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)

• Manage and support Cisco network devices and firewall appliances

• Monitor network performance and proactively address performance bottlenecks or outages

• Support network access control, VPN configurations, and firewall rule management

• Assist with network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for project implementation and incident resolution

• Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and change logs

• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices

• Provide Level 2/3 support and participate in after-hours maintenance or on-call support (as required)

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network administration or engineering

• CCNA certification is required

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewall management, switching technologies, and IP addressing/subnetting

• Familiarity with firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco ASA

• Good knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark)

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNP certification – candidates will be considered for senior-level roles

• Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, or cloud networking (Azure, AWS)

• Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus

• Knowledge of network security standards and practices

• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
