A leading company is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to enhance its network infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring secure operation and providing technical support for the BPO team. Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring secure and efficient network operations and providing high-quality technical support for our BPO team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
· Troubleshoot network performance issues and monitor system performance.
· Manage and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
· Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
· Apply network security best practices, including access control, encryption, and firewalls.
· Respond to network incidents and outages and participate in root cause analysis.
· Maintain documentation related to network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
· Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for network integration and projects.
· Conduct regular network health checks and patch management.
· Support VPN, SD-WAN, and remote access infrastructure.
· Implement redundancy and failover mechanisms to ensure high availability.
Key Skills & Technologies:
· Strong hands-on experience with networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HP, etc.)
· Good understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and QoS.
· Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers, and proxy solutions.
· Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar.
· Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) is a plus.
· Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / Fortinet NSE / Palo Alto PCNSE
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum [X] years of experience in network administration or engineering.
· Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are highly desirable.
Nice to Have:
· Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
· Exposure to SDN and network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Familiarity with VoIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
