Responsibilities

1. Network Management

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Ensure network security through best practices and security protocols.

2. Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, manage, and scale cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, databases) on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Configure and manage cloud networking components (VPCs, subnets, NACLs, security groups).
• Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Set up and manage AWS Direct Connect between on-premises and cloud environments.

3. Integration & Optimization

• Integrate on-premises network infrastructure with cloud platforms to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Optimize cloud resource usage and cost efficiency.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.

4. Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Implement security measures to protect data and infrastructure from threats.

5. Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and service quality.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for optimal terms.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications in at least one of the following: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Fortinet NSE4, AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations and implementation.
• Proficient with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Strong understanding of IP protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), QoS, MPLS, and Ethernet technologies (STP, RSTP, VLANs).
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex network issues and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of change management and version control.
• Familiarity with IP address management and subnetting.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
