Job summary

EXCELTECH COMPUTERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring a Network Automation Engineer / Application developer to assist the network team with automation and monitoring initiatives. You will build dashboards, manage monitoring tools, and develop programs that interface with APIs.

The role requires cross‑platform development in Unix/Windows and basic networking knowledge. Nights/on-call may be required. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in IT, strong Python/JavaScript skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, UNIX scripts, SQL.
• Familiar with web technologies (ReactJS, HTML, CSS).
• Able to develop in Unix and Windows environments.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, SNMP).
• Self-driven and able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist network team in achieving automation initiatives in areas such as network provisioning and monitoring.
• Create monitoring dashboard to enhance monitoring capabilities.
• Manage and maintain network monitoring systems and tools.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs using appropriate hardware, database, and programming tech.
• Understand and integrate with system API.
• Maintain and modify programs; amend flow charts and develop detailed logic and coding changes.
• Test and develop programming modifications.
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
• Provide BAU support and enhancements to the existing system.
• Provide 24x7 on call support.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Create monitoring dashboard to enhance the monitoring capabilities.
• Manage and maintain network monitoring systems and tools.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Understand and Integrate with system API

Requirement

Working Hours

Mon to Fri (9 to 6PM), however may require to work beyond office hours if need Night support needed during deployment
