Job description

To provide UNIX / LINUX systems support to ensure high availability of IT systems.

• Perform system administration, support and maintenance of IT systems

• Monitor the performance and availability of the system components in production and test environments

• Setup new physical servers, installation and configuration of Unix OS and related services

• Plan, manage and install patches for OS, security and other software according to patch management process

• Work with Development, Testing, Application Maintenance, Incident and Problem Management teams to implement new changes in production, install new releases of existing applications and troubleshoot issues across all Production & Non-Production environments

• Investigate system performance issues and carry out performance tuning

• Support new project implementation, participate in project meeting and provide task level detail feedback to the Project Manager Job Requirements:

• Experience in installing, configuring, tuning, upgrading, managing and administration Unix / Linux operating systems

• Experience in Installation, configuration and administration of Web Servers including Apache web server, Tomcat and Nginx

• Experience in implementation and administration of Software based load balancer including Red Hat HA-Proxy
