Job summary

IT Consultancy & Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a software professional to analyse process and program specifications and translate them into robust code following guidelines and best practices.

You will develop unit tests, assist in integration and system testing, and support UAT and production implementation to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing and delivering application software.
• Experience with .NET technologies.
• Proactive with a strong commitment to high quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Analyse process/program specifications and translate into code per guidelines and best practices.
• Make changes to configurable items including hardware, software, and documentation, with configuration management in mind.
• Develop unit test packages, execute tests, and document results to ensure quality.
• Assist in integration, system testing, UAT and implementation activities to fix issues in production.
• Investigate reported problems and prepare and maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Translate functional requirements into application design using established methodologies.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Analyse process/program specifications & translate specifications to program codes, conforming to program guidelines and programming best practices


• Make changes to configurable items, which include hardware, software, documentation, etc. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits


• Develop unit test package, execute tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the program


• Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the production environment


• Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing and prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.


• Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines

Requirement

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline


• At least 2 years of working experience in developing and delivering application software


• Possess relevant system development/maintenance experience using .NET-related technologies


• Possess initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high quality standards


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think out of the box
