A leading tech company in Singapore is seeking a dynamic technical leader to spearhead the modernization of mission-critical web applications. This role involves driving the migration from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 8/9, designing microservices, and optimizing solutions on Azure. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities—perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, mentoring developers, and driving impactful transformation.
Drive migration from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 8/9, leveraging microservices architecture and cloud‑native design.
Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Build and optimize solutions on Azure (AKS, APIM, Azure SQL).
Actively contribute to coding, testing, and deployment of high‑performance applications.
Architect and fine‑tune SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
Integrate AI tools into the development lifecycle for smarter, faster delivery.
Mentor and manage a junior software developer, ensuring timely delivery and removing blockers.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align on goals and milestones.
Required prior experience and skills:
Proven experience in .NET development and modernization projects. Experience of migration from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 8/9
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Expertise in containerization and CI/CD automation.
Solid understanding of SQL Server optimization.
Leadership experience with small to mid‑sized development teams.
