About The Position

We are looking for a .NET Lead with 6+ years of experience who can build software using the languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems, and provide user support. In this role, you will be required to write functional code and have a sharp eye for spotting defects. You will work with internal teams to design, develop, and maintain software and should, therefore, be a team player and an excellent communicator. If you are also passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  1. Lead .NET / SQL projects and microservices architecture
  2. Critique business, functional, and high-level technical requirements (including recovery, security, and audit)
  3. Promote and define development standards
  4. Perform coding of complex modules, as needed
  5. Design solutions for high complexity projects
  6. Assist with project estimating and milestone planning
  7. Ensure quality and consistency throughout the architecture and implementation of the code base
  8. Manage, organize, mentor, motivate, and delegate tasks to a team of talented software engineers
  9. Act as a highly competent advisor to their manager, leads, and team
  10. Help establish and enhance development policies, procedures, and standards and enforce their implementation upon their team of developers
  11. Assume responsibility for the quality and timeliness of the team’s deliverables
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of technology and instill the principles of this culture in a team
  13. Provide detailed and timely status updates to management
  14. Create unit tests and ensure code coverage is met as per the standards
  15. Design and code high-quality deliverables adhering to defined standards and design principles
Expertise You’ll Bring
  1. Ability to design, develop, and maintain production databases (SQL Server) using TSQL
  2. Strong object-oriented design patterns and methodologies
  3. Experience with Agile development practices
  4. .NET Full Stack Development / architecture of REST-based and SOAP-based APIs
  5. Windows domain security, trust, and configurations
  6. Front-end and back-end development
  7. Scrum and Jira experience is a plus
Knowledge
  1. In-depth understanding of queues, scaling, performance, and creating robust systems
  2. Experience with TFS, Bitbucket, GIT, Gitflow, or SVN source control systems
  3. Knowledge of XML, Jenkins, ReSharper, JetBrains tools
  4. Experience with serializers such as XML serialization
  5. Understanding of branching strategies
