Qualifications

• Certified NDT Level 2 in PAUT, RT, PT, MT, ET.
• Class 3 driver's license is necessary.

• Conduct NDT testing and inspection for welding and corrosion.

• Resolve customers' technical requirements.

Skills

Good experience in PAUT/TOFD for corrosion mapping

Data analysis in tube testing

Job description

Element has an opportunity for a NDT Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.

This role is based in Jalan Boon Lay, Singapore.

Job Duties:

• To conduct NDT testing and inspection work on piping, tank and vessel for welding and corrosion inspection for Oil & Gas, Aerospace industries
• Understand and resolve customers’ technical requirements
• Ensure that NDT activities comply with all required industrial and statutory standards

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering
• Certified NDT Level 2 in PAUT, RT, PT, MT and ET
• Good experience in PAUT/TOFD for corrosion mapping and weld inspection. Knowledge of data analysis in tube testing and tank floor scanning is an advantage
• Class 3 driver’s licence
• Meticulous and good at using MS Office
• Able to communicate with customers, peers and superiors effectively
• Customer-focus
• Independent and proactive
• Ability to work under stress
