Job description

We are seeking a Service Engineer with solid expertise in navigation and propulsion control systems to support regional and international customers. Responsibilities include remote troubleshooting, product support, and contributing technical knowledge to support field service operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, commissioning, testing, and servicing of shipboard navigation systems within the assigned navigation product portfolio, supporting service operations across South-East Asia.

• Perform system integration checks, configuration, calibration, and fault diagnosis during commissioning and service activities to ensure compliance with technical and performance specifications.

• Conduct workshop-level testing, system validation, and pre-installation technical preparation, ensuring readiness for on-site deployment.

• Produce detailed service and commissioning reports, update system schematics and technical drawings, and maintain cable schedules, configuration files, and system databases.

• Deliver remote technical assistance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to customers, as well as back-end engineering support to field service engineers.

• Provide technical input to the sales team during pre-sales and post-sales phases, including system clarification, configuration support, and documentation review.

• Execute pre- and post-service administrative tasks and perform ad-hoc technical duties as required.
