Job summary

TÜV SÜD Group is seeking a Consultant for Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to drive methodology development and NbS project incubation within its Decarbonization Centre of Excellence. The role focuses on advancing high-integrity NbS methodologies and digital MRV solutions while engaging with carbon standards and registries at a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Nature-based Solutions, carbon markets, or climate finance.
• Experience with international stakeholders, standards bodies, registries, or development institutions.
• Proven expertise in carbon methodologies, MRV systems, carbon standards, registries, or climate market mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Lead NbS methodology development and digital MRV approaches.
• Develop NbS project concepts including baselines, monitoring design, and safeguards.
• Engage with carbon standards, registries, and independent institutions for review and adoption.
• Onboard global stakeholders, registries, and accreditation bodies; coordinate integration.
