Main Objective:
The National Sales Manager is responsible for the achievement of sales goals by increasing market share and to maximize the revenue growth of Company products and services through the effective leadership of the Sales and Clinical Nurse team in Singapore.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Commercial Leadership
  • Develop and implement short term and long-term sales objectives, strategies and tactical plans for Singapore to maximize growth and achieve overall budget.
  • Manage sales forecast, revenue and capex budget and manpower plans; track progress against targets, develop correction plans for negative variance to budget and develop upside plans.
  • Ensure successful product launches by partnering with Regulatory, Product Management, Ops and Medical Education.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with KOLs to heighten Arthrex brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with Medical Education on development and implementation of surgeon training program to educate the safe and effective use of Arthrex products.
  • Develop and execute pricing and discount management strategy.
  • Build and provide market insights of key accounts, competitor information and market trends to drive growth.
  • Organize and participate in conferences and hospital courses.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance and QA to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency, such as OTC, inventory and accounts receivable management
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Arthrex product lines; updates, features, benefits, surgical techniques
  • Maintain close communication with the General Manager and the SEA Leadership team engaging them in all aspects of Singapore business growth strategies, challenges and opportunities


People Leadership
  • Ensure that all staff members receive appropriate training to perform their jobs effectively; monitor training records to ensure team has met all company training requirements.
  • Coach Deployment Manager to manage the Clinical Nurse team on team deployment plans, case requirements, training and customer communicatio
  • Coach Sales Leads on the technical aspects of Arthrex's product and services; marketing campaigns and sales promotions; sales techniques, account and pipeline management, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
  • Ensure Sales Leads, Clinical Nurse Specialists and operations adhere to company compliance guidelines and policies.
  • Foster the Arthrex Proud APAC values and build a positive working environment and healthy team culture to ensure high productivity, employee engagement and performance.


Education and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of sales experience of Medical Device (Sports Medicine/Arthroscopy experience preferred)
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in leading and managing sales teams
  • Proven experience of training others on products/services
  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Commercial acumen with a strong customer orientation
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective management and leadership skills
  • Effective project management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize goals, activities, etc., and properly balance long-term important activities with short-term urgent requirements
  • Good understanding of anatomy, pathophysiology, conditions and biomechanics that relates to Arthrex products
  • Must be able to work after office hours and weekends when needed
