Kuehne+Nagel is looking for a Contract Logistics Specialist to manage end-to-end warehousing operations, ensuring compliance and operational excellence in healthcare logistics. The role involves maintaining quality management systems, managing audits, and improving overall service delivery for their diverse clientele.
As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, bringing your regulatory knowledge and quality expertise to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction in the healthcare sector.
Your primary objective is to maintain and continuously improve our Healthcare Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to regulatory, customer, and certification requirements in the storage and distribution of healthcare products.
You will do this by executing core quality responsibilities and supporting business needs while focusing on the following key objectives:
To act as the key contact for Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and ensure timely application and maintenance of required licences.
To represent Kuehne+Nagel during audits by customers, authorities, and certification bodies.
To implement, maintain, and improve the Contract Logistics Healthcare Quality Management System (QMS).
To manage the change control process, perform risk assessments, and oversee closure of change requests.
To respond to deviations and complaints, manage TIPs and CAPAs, and ensure timely resolution and effectiveness.
To identify quality risks within logistics operations and implement risk mitigation and proactive improvement strategies.
To oversee batch record evaluation and release for relabelled/repackaged products.
To ensure qualified/validated storage environments, with continuous temperature and humidity monitoring.
To conduct audits and inspections to uphold quality and compliance standards.
To support local management reviews with updates on quality metrics and regulatory changes.
To engage customers on quality-related matters and support BD/commercial teams during RFI/RFP/RFQ processes.
To ensure readiness for and representation in customer audits.
