Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Product Engineer to drive NAND product development and integrate AI-driven workflows into qualification plans. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across business units, QA, fabrication, testing, and supply chain to ensure rapid, market-ready technology nodes from silicon to system.

The role emphasizes AI workflow development, NAND integration into SSD platforms, and leading product engineering reviews with a global, multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PhD with ≥2 years, or Master’s with ≥5 years, or Bachelor’s with ≥7 years in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• Proven track record of agentic AI solutions using Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot.
• Highly self‑motivated and enthusiastic in a global cross‑functional engineering environment.
• Growth mindset with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Desire to work on technical projects with cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of NAND design/device, validation, test flows, reliability, and failure analysis; interest in system product enablement.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate NAND requirements with business units and SSD leads, translating them into qualification specs.
• Develop AI workflow solutions to automate data extraction and analysis for NAND specs.
• Integrate NAND engineering with Technology Development and Design Engineering for SSD integrations.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Business Units, Supply Chain, Silicon Fabrication, and Test teams to ensure timely execution.
• Create AI‑embedded workflows and a NAND Program Management system to track priorities and actions.
• Represent Product Engineering in product development reviews and lead cross‑functional meetings.
• Organize NAND capability data reviews to advance system development toward customer qualification samples.
• Engage in complex problem solving for NAND‑system interactions and guide the team to resolution.
