Job Description

We seek a high-energy, self-motivated, results-driven individual for the role of NAND Process Development CMP/BTG Senior Manager/Lead. This leader will oversee a team of engineers to identify, prioritize, and implement process solutions within a 15-month cadence, addressing yield, reliability, and cost gaps across various stages of NAND technology development.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment through proactive safety practices and adherence to safety policies.
  • Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of process engineers.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and tenacity to meet accelerated technology timelines.
  • Provide performance feedback, support professional development, and facilitate career planning for team members.
  • Define strategy and roadmap for future technology nodes.
  • Engage with suppliers to develop processes and equipment aligned with Micron’s roadmap.
  • Collaborate with process development, process integration, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, manufacturable processes on schedule.
  • Partner with manufacturing to ensure effective transfer, pilot ramp-up, and process development to meet TECHNODE gate criteria.
  • Coordinate with Procurement & Operations teams to align worldwide efforts and improve efficiency.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with local and global partners, ensuring compliance with intellectual property policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in the semiconductor industry with experience in CMP and/or Bond/Trim/Grind, demonstrating strong organizational and technical skills and global team engagement.
  • Proven success in leading projects and overseeing process engineering teams.
  • Ability to foster a department culture aligned with company core values.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to take calculated risks and challenge oneself and others to innovate.
  • Recognition as a mentor, team builder, motivator, and technical expert, with the ability to solicit feedback and analyze outcomes.
