Job summary

Luxoft Information Technology (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead complex IT projects for a major bank.

You will own end-to-end delivery, manage cross-functional teams, vendor relationships, schedules, budgets and risk mitigation, ensuring quality and on-time outcomes across multiple business units.

Strong stakeholder communications, banking domain knowledge and Murex project experience are valued; Singapore-based with on-site work.

Qualifications

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

They have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting their regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. They operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Their Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for their businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder and Communications Management:

• Manage all aspects of project and change request engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
• Continually manage project and change request expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and change request team, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership and business stakeholders

Process and Delivery Execution:

• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
• Full project life cycle ownership to ensure successful project delivery
• Manage all aspects of the projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
• Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Ensure assignment of adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Manage project scope and changes
• Act as an internal quality control check for the project
• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Ensure that projects and change requests are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
• Manage project and change request issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline
• The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible to deliver IT project(s) and change requests that span across multiple business units. Manage resources, schedules, financial and adhere to stage gate quality and SDM control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
• The Technical Delivery Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified boundaries of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• 3-10 years of proven working experience in IT project management in a banking environment and in treasury products related
• Experience working on Murex projects
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
