We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors, including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as the subject matter expert for Murex Accounting and the wider Finance stream at one of the largest investment banks in Singapore undergoing a significant Murex upgrade.
2. Perform functional analysis of accounting changes shared by Murex and present findings to end users.
3. Define process and report adaptations required due to updates in newer Murex versions.
4. Represent the Accounting/Finance stream at project meetings and oversee critical upgrade activities.
5. Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into change or project initiatives.
6. Coordinate with vendor support to resolve bugs/issues as needed.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Experience in the financial industry with relevant expertise in Murex Accounting and Finance Module.
• 5-8 years of experience configuring accounting rules in Murex for asset classes such as Derivatives, FI, and FX.
• At least one Murex implementation or upgrade project experience.
• Understanding of finance reports, especially PnL and accrual reports.
• Expertise in Murex PnL configuration, including Accounting, Economic PnL, and related components like past and future cash flows.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with MXpress; FEM migrations; MXplus updates; MX.3 main-branch upgrades.
