Job summary

CITY FACILITIES MANAGEMENT (SGP) PTE. LTD. is seeking a maintenance technician in Singapore to deliver electrical, mechanical, and facility upkeep services. You will handle work orders, coordinate schedules, repair motors and lighting, and ensure safe operations across stores and warehouses.

You should have a clean driving licence, a relevant NITEC certification, and at least two years in building maintenance. On-call shifts and weekend duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving licence; commercial badge preferred but not essential.
• NITEC certification in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years' building maintenance experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with store managers.
• On-call standby duties and weekend rotation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and proactively resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and coordinate work to fit schedule as assigned by cluster supervisor.
• Maintain facility electrical, mechanical and equipment’s.
• Repair electric motors, controllers and other auxiliary electrical devices.
• Install new wiring and electrical machinery; work from prints and diagrams to determine layout, location, and specifications of items to install.
• Isolate and dismantle electrical equipment’s; replace defective parts; reassemble, and test for proper operation.
• Check and repair lighting systems.
• Inventory stock, and requisition supplies to maintain adequate supply.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.
• Maintain CCTV cabling system throughout the facility when noted, and troubleshoot the system to determine where problems or damage may have occurred.
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly, to the individual store managers & warehouse managers, and their teams, as required for any reactive and/or preventive works.
• Able to coordinate the delivery of ALL preventive maintenance activities for the stores allocated to you.
• Estimate time and materials required on work order.
• Inventory stock, and requisition supplies to maintain adequate supply.
• Any ad-hoc duties and responsibilities assigned.
