Job summary

TikTok Singapore is seeking a Research Engineer focused on machine learning for ad content understanding and security. You will advance multimodal models, apply LLM/MLLM and AIGC technologies, and collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality commercial intelligence for the ad ecosystem.

Ideal candidates bring strong ML/DL fundamentals, hands-on large-model experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow, and a track record in content understanding or AIGC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in CS, AI, Mathematics, Statistics or related majors.
• Minimum 1+ year of algorithm R&D / project implementation experience in content understanding or AIGC.
• Solid ML/DL fundamentals; strong knowledge of MLLM/LLM, CV, NLP, multimodal fusion, and Agent tech.
• Proficient in PyTorch/TensorFlow, hands-on large model training and deployment; Python/C++.
• Familiar with multimodal models; content understanding, ad analysis, and intelligent review.
• Publications at CS/ML conferences are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Focus on ad content understanding; conduct R&D for large models and apply AIGC tech.
• Deepen multimodal understanding across text, audio, video, live streaming.
• Explore RL/Agent applications in multimodal review scenarios; track AIGC trends.
• Develop multimodal content understanding models for ad intent recognition and risk judgment.
