Job summary

APPLE SOUTH ASIA PTE. LTD. is hiring a researcher with a strong technical background in image/video generation and multimodal foundation models.

You will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art model capabilities for Apple’s AI-driven products and collaborate with world-class engineers and researchers across Apple. You will work on foundational video generation, editing, and unified multimodal models, shaping product features and advancing research to production-ready technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in machine learning, deep learning and statistical modeling.
• Experience in developing models for computer vision tasks, such as object detection, visual question answering.
• Experience in image generation models, such as VAE, GAN, and diffusion models.
• Proficiency in PyTorch, Jax or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java or C++.
• MS or PhD in related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing, fine-tuning, and evaluating foundational video generation and editing models, as well as unified multimodal foundation models capable of both visual understanding and generation.
• Developing, fine-tuning, and evaluating domain-specific video generation and editing models for various tasks and applications in Apple’s AI-powered products.
• Conducting innovative research and transferring pioneering research in generative AI to production-ready technologies.
• Understanding product requirements, translating them into modelling tasks and engineering tasks.
