Job summary

MEDIA AIRE-CON ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Technician, with strong air-conditioning skills, to join our team in Singapore.

The role covers air-conditioning servicing, installation, electrical works, lighting and general maintenance for residential and commercial customers. Candidates should have hands-on experience and perform tasks efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience in air-conditioning servicing, repair and/or installation is required.
• Experience in electrical, lighting, painting or general maintenance will be an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot and carry out technical works independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform air-conditioning servicing and maintenance.
• Carry out installation works, piping, insulation and drainage.
• Troubleshoot air-conditioning faults and identify problems.
• Carry out electrical and lighting installation and maintenance works.
• Assist with general maintenance and handyman works when required.
• Attend customer appointments and complete assigned jobs professionally.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Starting Salary: From $1,800/month, commensurate with experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Technician, mainly aircon skilled to join our team.

Our company provides a range of services including air-conditioning servicing and installation, electrical works, lighting and painting for residential and commercial customers.

The successful candidate should have relevant hands-on experience and be able to carry out assigned jobs efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Air-Conditioning

• * Perform air-conditioning servicing and maintenance
• * Carry out normal servicing and chemical cleaning
• * Troubleshoot air-conditioning faults and identify problems
• * Carry out repair and replacement of aircon components where required
• * Perform air-conditioning installation works, including piping, insulation and drainage
• * Test and commission air-conditioning systems

Electrical & Lighting

• * Carry out electrical and lighting installation and maintenance works
• * Install and replace lighting fixtures and electrical accessories
• * Assist with troubleshooting and repair of electrical and lighting issues
• * Ensure all works are carried out safely and properly

Painting & General Maintenance

• * Carry out residential and commercial painting works
• * Perform surface preparation, painting and touch-up works
• * Assist with general maintenance and handyman works when required

General Duties

• * Attend customer appointments and complete assigned jobs professionally
• * Maintain cleanliness of the work area after completing each job
• * Properly handle and maintain company tools and equipment
• * Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines
• * Complete job reports and update work status accurately
• * Work independently as well as with other team members
• * Carry out other technical duties assigned by the company

Requirements

• * *Relevant working experience in air-conditioning servicing, repair and/or installation is required*
• * Experience in electrical, lighting, painting or general maintenance will be an advantage
• * Able to troubleshoot and carry out technical works independently

Class 3 driving licence is preferred

• * Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
• * Willing to travel to different job locations across Singapore
• * Responsible, punctual and hardworking
• * Good communication and customer service skills
• * Able to work independently and as part of a team
• * Good working attitude and takes pride in workmanship
