Job summary

CENTURY GLOBAL RESOURCES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a multi-skilled technician to handle facade, cleaning, welding and plumbing tasks on challenging sites.

This role involves grinding, fabrication, installation, and on-site maintenance under tight deadlines, with emphasis on safety and quality. The candidate should have hands-on experience across trades, be able to read technical drawings, and work well in a team under outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Welding Certificate or recognized Technical Qualification (ITI / Diploma).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facade, welding, plumbing, or related technical works (multi-skill preferred).
• Must be physically fit for demanding site conditions (heat, heights, dust).
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute from technical drawings without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication works to precise specifications and quality standards.
• Facade installation, fixing, sealing, and alignment of panels, brackets, and structures.
• Surface preparation, cleaning, and finishing of glass, aluminum, steel, and composite materials.
• On-site plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair works (water supply, drainage, sanitary systems).
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents with accuracy.
• Quality checks, dimensional inspections, and finishing assessments.
• Use hand and power tools safely for grinding, cutting, drilling, and fitting.
• Ensure welding joints meet strength and aesthetic requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform welding and fabrication works to precise specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out facade installation, fixing, sealing, and alignment of panels, brackets, and structures.
• Execute surface preparation, cleaning, and finishing of glass, aluminum, steel, and composite materials.
• Handle plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair works on-site (water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems).
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents with full accuracy.
• Conduct quality checks, dimensional inspections, and finishing assessments for all works performed.
• Perform grinding, cutting, drilling, and fitting tasks using hand and power tools safely.
• Ensure all welding joints and connections meet strength, alignment, and aesthetic standards.
• Work under tight schedules and high‑pressure conditions to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the work area at all times.
• Support facade and plumbing teams during installation, lifting, rigging, and fixing activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, PPE, and company regulations at every step.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and fellow technicians for smooth workflow and issue resolution.
• Be ready to work in outdoor environments — including heat, dust, soil, dirt, and confined spaces.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying worksite issues and suggesting better methods.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Welding Certificate or recognized Technical Qualification (ITI / Diploma).

• Must be physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions (heat, heights, soil, dust, and open‑air environments).

• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and site safety equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve site issues quickly and independently.
• Must be ready to work long hours, night shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
• High tolerance for pressure and fast‑paced environments — quality work even under stress.
• Strong team player with a sense of discipline, respect, and cooperation.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail at all times.
• Flexible to assist across multiple scopes (facade, cleaning, welding, plumbing) as per project needs.
