What you can expect in the role:

Roles And Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

• Follow the Globant project methodology and MuleSoft API Lifecycle.
• Provide support and expertise to achieve a successful deployment of the integration/API solution.
• Support our solutions team in defining, sizing, and shaping MuleSoft engagements.
• Work with customers and project teams to elicit, elaborate, and clarify detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

Solutions Architecture & Design

• Create and/or review & assure designs for integration and API solutions based on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including platform configuration and integration application design.
• Guide a development team through the build phase, providing advice and assurance against the design.
• Ensure best practices are followed regarding development, source code management (SCM), CI/CD, and unit testing.
• Review and ensure the build work of junior team members and that customer output meets Globant standards.

Testing

• Support system integration testing and acceptance testing activities.

Release

• Define and execute a deployment plan.

Management

• Manage project delivery and escalate risks/issues as appropriate.
• Keep client and internal stakeholders regularly updated on progress.

Growth

• Coach junior colleagues to grow future talent.
• Document and refine methods and tools to support standardization and best practices.

Technical Skills

Must have:

• Bachelor's Degree (STEM subject preferred).
• Minimum 13 years of experience across the software project delivery lifecycle.
• At least 10 years of experience in MuleSoft.
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect and MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
• Experience creating MuleSoft applications.
• Experience in the complete API and/or software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of security concepts and solutions.
• Ability to manage projects, including risk management, stakeholder management, resource management, and planning.

Nice to have:

• Salesforce and/or Tableau experience.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
• Solution/Enterprise Architecture qualifications (TOGAF, BCS).
• Experience with other integration platforms besides MuleSoft.

Must have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident presenting to senior stakeholders and explaining technical concepts to a business audience.
• Ability to lead and manage a development team.
• Willingness to adapt within a fast-paced environment.
