Job summary

GSK in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) product owner to lead product lifecycle activities, drive scale-up, and support continuous improvements across manufacturing, quality, engineering and tech transfer teams.

You will resolve technical issues, coach teams, prepare change controls and deviations, and ensure GMP-aligned documentation while collaborating with cross-functional partners to advance safe, compliant operations and site performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in pharmaceutical biologics manufacturing, process development or MSAT.
  • Experience with technology transfer, process troubleshooting and deviation investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP principles and experience working with quality systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Job description

You will lead Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) product owner activities in Singapore. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering and technical transfer teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient product operations. You will resolve technical issues, lead process improvements, and drive site product lifecycle management. Responsibilities

  • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across sites and teams.
Basic Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in pharmaceutical biologics manufacturing, process development or MSAT.
  • Practical experience with technology transfer, process troubleshooting and deviation investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP principles and experience working with quality systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Effective communicator with experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
Preferred Qualification
  • Advanced degree (master's or PhD) in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with aseptic processing or vaccine manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with process validation, statistical tools and continuous improvement methods.
  • Hands-on experience in a multi-site or global network environment.
  • Experience preparing technical reports for regulatory submission.
  • Prior program leadership experience (matrix leadership)
